Museum of Freemasonry – Online Talk

Musuem of Freemasonry Logo

Freemasons have been making decorative badges they call ‘jewels’ for centuries. They are proudly worn in many of the portrait paintings we have on display in the Museum. But what most people don’t know, is that a few jewels also feature their own miniature portraits. Who are these famous, and not-so-famous faces on the jewels?

Introduced by Interpretation Manager Jane Nielsen, our Curator, Mark Dennis, will explain how these portraits came to be on jewels and how we can learn more about the time and people behind them.

The talk will take place via Zoom on Monday 7 September at 19:30. It will last around 45 minutes.

Places are limited and filling up fast so book your spot today using the button below.
