Masons At The Medieval Market

On Tuesday 25th July 2017, Brothers of Scarsdale Lodge 681 turned out at the Chesterfield Medieval Market to support and raise funds for their supported charity Teddies For Loving Care.  They were also on hand to answer any questions about Freemasonry.

Amongst their visitors on the day were the Mayor (Councillor Maureen Davenport) and Mayoress (Mrs Liz Archer) of Chesterfield (pictured here cuddling with the first prize bear in the fund raising raffle).

A total of £188.35 was raised for Teddies for Loving Care on the day. To date, Scarsdale 681 have donated an amazing 46,000 bears to Derbyshire Accident and Emergency Units.

A very big thank you goes out to the Worshipful Master Graham Lee, Bro. Bob Columbine, Bro. Malcolm Smith, Bro. Lyndsey Pemberton, Bro. Thomson Jarvis and Bro. Mike Aves for their support and help on the day.

The atmosphere on the day was electric, with everyone having a good time. Many of the people who took the time to visit the Scarsdale stand told of how their own children had received teddy bears during their visits to A&E.
