Foundation Derbyshire donors get to see the difference they make, on their own doorsteps – getting to chat to grant recipients and understand the impact they have made.
Recently the Foundation paid a visit to Fairplay in Chesterfield, following grants made from their Derbyshire High Sheriff Fund and William and Griselda Kerr Fund. The funding is to provide an arts group using craft as therapy, addressing mental health concerns experienced by some of their younger members.
An inspirational, innovative and caring centre, filled with smiles and determination. If you don’t know about their work you can find more out about them here
Fairplay was invited to attend the Freemasons Anniversary Ball at the Pride Park Stadium in Derby on Wednesday 26 July 2017, to celebrate 300 years of the Freemasons. Fairplay was invited as special guests to receive an award for a major contribution to the Community of Derbyshire. As well as a fabulous trophy, Fairplay also received a cheque for £2,000!
